Easter 2023

Celebrate Resurrection Sunday with us!

YOU ARE INVITED!

At the very essence and core of Christianity is this one earth-shaking and eternity-shaping historical event. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the only Son of God! In this valiant act of sacrificial love and divine justice, He landed the death-blow to death itself while breathing life into us all. This is where we put our hopes. This is where we give our lives!

"if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless." (1 Corinthians 15:14)

Jesus not only shows us a better way to live, He also freely offers us forgiveness, belong, and purpose in ways we could never earn or imagine! He is the only way to a reconciled relationship with our Creator and following Him helps us to make sense of our the world around us as we walk through even the darkest and unexplainable times.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Family-friendly, come-as-you-are atmosphere

Don't worry about if you're dressed to fit in or if you have the right outfit. Spend that time preparing your heart instead. You won't have to know the right lingo and your kids aren't too loud for us!

  • Authentic and accessible community

We strive to drop the pretense and admit that no one here is perfect and we've all been where you are. Sundays are like one big family reunion, and we'll treat you like that long-lost cousin we can't wait to see!

  • Meaningful and moving music

A mix of new and old, loud and soft, joyful and contrite. We sing not just because we like the song, but because God is worthy of our praise!

  • A Biblical and relevant sermon

We believe the Word of God is vital to the life of a Christian and gives us what we need to build our life on. It's full of eternal and ancient wisdom that's somehow living and active even today. Our messages are firmly tethered to the unchanging truth of God while also helping you apply it to our modern context.

  • Joyful celebration of new life and hope

We try to infuse a little something extra into our Resurrection Sunday gatherings. We don't want it to be too unlike every other Sunday, but we take it up a notch because of what it means for the hope we now have!

This year we have been taking a journey through the Exodus story each Sunday, and this Easter we will see how God's rescue in Exodus points to our own salvation. It's "deliverance through obedience" come full circle in the Cross and Empty Tomb!

AFTER CHURCH:

If you can, stick around after the worship service and share a meal with us! We'll open up the cafe, our newly finished multipurpose area, and (weather-permitting) the lawn where we'll have some fun stuff for the kids, a free photo booth to make some memories in, and plenty of good stuff to eat!
