Organizations rise and fall with leadership and we take that idea very seriously. God gives clear guidelines in His word to what is expected of church leaders and how they are to care for his "flock". FFC is an "elder-ruled" church with deacons set aside to serve the congregation with their spiritual gifts. Get to know us a little here, and find out much more in person!

Ben, along with his wife Jenna and some devoted friends and family, started Freedom Family Church - Siler City in 2017. Before that, Ben served as Youth and Family Pastor at Freedom Family Church in Liberty since its inception in 2008. Ben has always been bi-vocational; spending time teaching in public schools, running a local small business, and co-founding Love Chatham, a non-profit organization devoted to those experiencing homelessness in our community. Ben and Jenna live here in Siler City with their 5 kids.

Richard is our other Elder currently serving and leading our church. He helps oversee the facility and finances, and spends much of his time leading and discipling our Youth Group. He will regularly teach at Youth Night on Wednesdays and occasionally fill in preaching on Sunday mornings. Richard has a background in construction and engineering and works for Learning Environments where he lives in Liberty with his wife Haley and their two boys.

On top of the role of "Pastor's Wife" and "Mom of 5", Jenna has important task of leading our Kids Ministry at FFC. You will find her teaching, organizing, and fostering relationships with parents to help them lead their children spiritually. Jenna also uses her leadership skills in the medical world, supervising teams of Nurse case managers.

Jake has been in the extended FFC family since its earliest days, but after moving back home from Arizona in 2019, Jake joined back up with our church and began leading worship on Sundays and overseeing the A/V Ministry. Jake works in the IT field and lives in Cameron with his wife Andrada and their 2 boys.

Haley serves faithfully as a Deacon in many facets of our church. She leads our Women's Ministry, maintains The Storehouse Cafe, and helps mentor the ladies in the youth group. She's also homeschooling mom and host of The Called to Belong Podcast. The Cobbs joined FFC in 2018.

Mack is the definition of "multi-use" in his role as a Deacon! When he's not being "Poppy" to his grandkids, he serves behind the scenes in facilities ministries, helping out with Love Chatham (which he helped launch in 2021), as well as greeting you on Sundays. He is retired and currently lives in Siler City with his wife Edie.

Craig uses his chaplain's aid background from the Navy to help handle much of the administrative organization for the church. You'll find him up at the church office a few days a week, while also helping in the Food Pantry and handling the details most others overlook. He lives in Bennett with his wife Nancy and their family.
